It is hard to push the clay through and hard to clean barrel, but does a great job extruding shapes, so worth the trouble

It's difficult to get the clay through, especially with the smaller tip attachments. It's also tough to clean, but soapy water and a Q-Tip works well.

The Clay Gun makes very neat shapes, but it is EXTREMELY hard to push the (Sculpey) clay through, even after we've worked it with our hands and warmed it up. It's frustrating and discouraging for my normally patient 12-year-old, who is the main clay sculptor in the family. I would not recommend for children, and only for adults with strong hands.

A little upset with this art tool. It seems that my hands are not strong enough to use this. But watched my Grandson use it and once he got the clay softer it seemed to work great for him. Guess I will have to find an elec one or have him help his old grandma with it when he comes to visit.

This NICOLE Clay Gun has exceeded my expectations. The Clay Gun is simple to operate, and the results are excellent, while the price is fair and competitive with other sellers. I find it easier to push material through by positioning the gun upside down on the floor/ carpet, and pressing on the handles with my heels while sitting on a chair. I searched all possible sellers online but the NICOLE Clay Gun from "Mister-Art" was the best bargain, boasting the greatest price reduction, and the most economic shipping costs. The delivery was prompt, and I received the Clay Gun sooner than I had expected.

This is the one to buy. It is 100% better than the green plastic one I had.

Fun to use with tons of different disks to use.

a bit hard to work with but when you do manage to get the fimo through the disc the shapes are coming out right
Rated by: KC S. in Carson City, NV
I knew what the product was at the time of purchase. Yes the clay can be hard to push out but, it performs as promised. Some of the disc's are not as sharp and crisp, but, over all worth the time and money.

I had read the reviews on this product before I purchased so I had an idea what to expect. The gun is very hard to push the clay through and clean up is time consuming. But if you are looking for hard to make shapes then this gun does do the trick. Takes some practice though.

Very hard to push the clay through, but does the job with some effort. I found it difficult to clean the clay out of the tube (an old toothbrush helps, but still requires some time).
Rated by: terry s. in bloomingdale, IL
some dies are hard to push. try rolling clay in wax paper cover one end leave the end open toward the die. and the clean up is not bad.
Rated by: Melissa F. in Vashon, WA
It works on Sculpey, but you have to work it well before putting it in, and even then most of the shapes are hard to push through. It does what it's supposed to, but it is kind of hard to use. Also Sculpey gets stuck in it, and it is hard to get the last little bit out.
