I love working with conte crayons in my lifedrawing class. They are more easily controlled than charcoal for fine details, but also are soft enough to fill in large areas pretty well when turned on the side. This is a good mix of colors, and it's nice to have the convenient case so they don't get lost in my supply box.

Studying Interior Design I get to practice with many different mediums. CONTE crayons are a great way to fill a room design with color.

I am very pleased with the set of 48 Conte Crayons. The colors are bright and work very well for the underpainting of paintings finished with soft pastels. Color selection is great.
