Love these pens. They are at least on par with the Sakura Micron pen I have, and are wonderfully affordable, too. Ink dries fast and the pen glides smoothly.
Rated by: James I. in wisconsin, WI
A great pen that can be used for any purpose that the artist requires. When dry they fade a little bit more than I would like so if you use them with indian ink you will see the difference.
Rated by: Craig G. in Hillsborough, NC
These pens are the best you can get. I've been using them for years with great success. Much much much better than the Pigma Microns. The ink doesnt pick up.

I am a Multimedia and Animation Student in Community College. When I am drawing characters and I need to ink small things like eyes, that's when these pens work perfectly! Use a Sharpy to ink big areas and these Alvin Tech-liner bad boys for the small details. I also reccomend Sakura Pigma Micron pens. They are really cool!

I love pen and ink and am a constant doodler. These pens have great ink and last a good long time. Will buy again.

Love these, they write cleanly and last forever!

These pens work great. The tips are steady and durable. Great item for the price. Doesn't hurt the pocket to replace them.

These are the best inking pens available (and I've tried them all). I do comic books and storyboards and the ink in these pens is far superior the next best thing (Pigma Microns). The nibs are just the right amount of give and stiffness. If you use Microns, do yourself a favor and try these. Highly recommended to artists in my field!!

The Tech-Liner pens from Alvin are a great bargain. As part of my job, I need to prepare site plans, maps, and other drawings and prefer to do them by hand. The pens perform well, giving good and consistent line quality.

A very nice smooth pen -- I use it for journaling, crafts and drawing. I will definitely buy more.

Excellent drawing pens. I was looking for something to write on glass for an etching project and they worked beautifully!!
Rated by: Marge T. in Bullhead City, AZ
These pens are an exceptional, low cost option to technical pens. I recommend them to anyone who has a drafting or art project.

The ALVIN Tech-Liner Superpoint drawing pen is the ONLY pen for technical use, in my opinion. The first one I used had been left in an abandoned desk by someone. It was a 0.1 mm tip. It functioned perfectly despite having obviously seen some rough use. Today it is difficult to find a 0.1 mm tip in any brand; the ALVIN, however, is the exception. It is an exceptionally good, long-lasting instrument for precise, technical drawing/lettering.

ALVIN is the only mfr of pens I have ever found that makes a 0.1 mm pen, which I find to be IDEAL for my work. My only gripe is that the product only comes in a set of 5 pens: 0.1-0.5 mm, whereas I only need the 0.1 size.

These are great pens for the price. I am very particular about my pens and these do the job. Very smooth!

These pens are pretty good. I endorse this product.

I like to write with a fine point pen and have bought all kinds of fine point pens looking for the best one. I didn't know fine point pens came in anything less than .5 mm, so I couldn't wait to see how the .4 mm, .3 mm, .2 mm and .1 mm pens wrote. The Alvin Tech-Liner is the absolute best pen I've ever used. I'm in love with them, especially the .1 mm pen. The pen is permanent ink that doesn't smudge or bleed through the paper and cost very little. I'm so glad that I found your website and the ALVIN Tech-Liner fine point pens. I only hope that they will add other colors in this line. When they do, I'll buy those too!
Rated by: Cindy K. in NYC, NY
These pens are excellent - the best I've found. Ink dries fast, never smears.
Rated by: Robin C. in Katonah, NY
These pens are excellent. The ink is dense and flows easily. The points remain sharp giving consistently well defined lines.
Rated by: Kari K. in Madison, WI
I like the richness of the ink, and the way it glides onto paper. Good pens.
Rated by: Nancy S. in Wheaton, IL
These are by far the best pens I have ever used. They write smoothly, the ink dries quickly, and I enjoy being able to use different thicknesses for various kinds of work.
