This template is invaluable for study of aircraft crashes. Most a/c involv e small aircraft that show controlled impact with terrain. Most impacts with buildings, homes, offices occur relatively close to airports, necessitating a diagram of site. This template is useful in delineating crash site. It structures the situation to encourage careful measurement of the crash site. In my experience, there is a tendency to make wildly inaccurate estimates by personnel not trained to measure these distances. The template is invaluable for the investigator who wishes to make careful measurements, rather than gross, simplistic diagrams by individuals unfamiliar with site. Add it to your crash kit--it is very useful.
