First quality blending brushes have naturally tipped goat hair, and are superb for dry brush blending in oils. Soften hard edges uniformly for reflections or shadows. Won't cut into color.

I first saw this brush used by Nelson Shanks at one of his workshops. He would lightly brush the canvas from the top to bottom in a feathery movement to remove the glare from brush strokes perpedicular to the light in order to reduce glare. It works wonderfully at my studio as well. You will love this brush.
