Scorpion I Compressor

by Silentaire

The Scorpion I is a quiet, compact, and portable compressor for general airbrushing work. Its oil-less operation means no maintenance and it is easy to use via a simple on/off switch. It also has an automatic shutoff feature that reduces noise and minimizes motor wear. Reliable performance comes from a trap and filter that eliminate moisture buildup in the airhose. Single-piston unit operates at pressures up to 30 psi. Delivers 0.55 cfm at maximum psi. Measures 8 in. (20 cm) high x 8 3/4 in. (22 cm) long x 6 in. (15 cm) wide. Includes coiled plastic airhose.

This compressor is easy to operate and pretty quiet - not silent, but quiet enough that my wife can't hear it from the next room (through an open door). I use it to paint scale models, and it's great for that. The existing hose and adapters didn't work with my Testors Aztek, but the airbrush hose did fit. Check your airbrush fittings and order one that'll fit.

at first i was skeptical as to how quiet this compressor would be but i was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is. with music playing, i cant even hear it. perfect! very much worth the price too

Much better thatn the 20 y/o compressor I had! Quiet, doesn't run constantly like the old one and stays put on the floor. Many little features, like water separator, coiled retractible cord and universal fitting so I can switch airbrushes in a matter of seconds!! Great value!!
