These pre-stretched, double acrylic primed canvases are made of 100% cotton duck. They possess a uniform, medium texture. The canvases are acid-free, precision squared, and require no keys.

The canvases are for use with oils, acrylics, and water-based paints. They are available with titanium white or light gray priming.

Discovery Stretched Cotton Canvases are stapled on the sides and are 3/4 in. deep. Canvas sizes 24 in. x 36 in. and larger have a cross stretcher bar for additional support.

These canvases are extremely high quality for their price range. I've purchased tons of them over the past year for my own personal use (I'm not a professional), and the only complaint that I have has to do with the sides. When painted on, the canvas crinkles, and the staples are showing. There are other gallery-type canvases though, but for my purposes, this is just fine.

These canvases are some of the best I have used in my 35 years of painting and the price really is the best. This was a great deal! Mister Art did an amazing job packing my large size canvas - they came in perfect condition! The ends tend to crinkle when painted around the staples - but most canvas that is not wrapped all the way around the stretcher bars tend to do that... You have to pay more for gallery wrapping. If you are planning on framing this canvas then this is a great product for you! Very very good quality for the price - I'm really happy I got these!
