No Flow

An antifusant that is applied to the fabric before silk painting to inhibit the spreading of dye. This starch-like fluid is painted on the entire piece or on a specific area. It dries clear and washes out in the first rinse. No Flow is particularly useful when making fine designs with a brush or fabric pen.

No Flow is a very versatile product for fabric painters and dyers. My favorite way to use No Flow is to "paint" an abstract design with it, then dye the rest of the fabric. It's always a (mostly) pleasant surprise to see what the fabric looks like when it comes out of the wash. The intended purpose for no flow is to paint the entire work surface with it so you can use dyes like paint and they won't spread.

Excellent product!! I use it as a primer on fabric so I can paint with watered down acrylics on ungessoed fabric. The paints do not bleed or run and the fabric remains soft. Doll makers will love this product!
