When not in use, do I store these pens horizontally, or vertically, brush up or down? Does it matter? - Asked by Sue R on 11-Jun-14
Answer
We recommend storing this type of pen horizontally. Make sure the caps are on properly and sealed. - Answered by MisterArt on 16-Jun-14How do I get the ink to start? - Asked by carol feimer on 30-Apr-14
Answer
A protective white plastic ring is in between the pen and the ink capillary. Unscrew the pen and remove the plastic ring. As it is screwed back together, it will create a clicking noise as it snaps into the proper place. Gently make repetitive strokes until the ink begins to flow. - Answered by MisterArt on 01-May-14What is the difference between the color black and the pigment black? - Asked by howard moskowitz on 12-Jan-14
Answer
Pigment black is made with fine ground pigment particles and the water-based black is made from dyes. Pigment black is less transparent and provides a deeper black shade. - Answered by MisterArt on 13-Jan-14Is there a way to get the ink to flow? - Asked by stephanie van lammeren on 08-Sep-12
Answer
Here is the secret to these pens: when you first get it, there is a red ring on the pen. You must remove the red ring, and screw the pen back together, and then the ink will flow. - Answered by MisterArt on 10-Oct-12Ask a Question About Color Brush
