I use this sharpener all the time. I love the point it gives to my colored pencils, and the sharpener doesn't get clogged with peels. I love that it also sharpens my thick colored pencils. This sharpener works great on Prismacolor colored pencils with little breakage if any. This is the sharpener I use on my Prismacolor. The only thing I would change is the fact that because of the way it opens and is constructed, when you open or close the sharpener the pencil shavings fall out through the sharpener hole making it irritatingly messy.
