The exceptionally thin face of the Fineline cleanly defines an image but never overwhelms it. The frame also offers easy loading of your image and matting. The patented "Framlok" corner joining system enables one end of the frame to be easily removed for loading yet securely attached when in use. The exceptionally thin edge (1/8 in.) aluminum molding is available in black or white powder coating and silver, gold, and bronze anodizing. The snap-in easel is provided for sizes up to 8 in. x 12 in.

Spring clips adjust the depth of the frame to accommodate up to 3/8 in. of matting and artwork. Frame depth is 7/8 in. The glass is perfectly clean with smooth edges. Mats are not included with these frames.

I am replacing two entire walls of black picture frames with these. I love this sturdy finelined frame. The uniformity of this frame and the ability to do single or double matting has made a dramatic difference in my display. I would recommend this frame to anyone who desires to do a large scale installation where the photograph is the focus instead of the frame.

These are super-sturdy frames, built to last. However, there's a lot going on--don't plan on throwing your art into these frames quickly; they're not idiot-proof either. I recommend them. The black aluminum is clean and modern-looking.

The only ultra-thin frames that can accommodate the thickness of matted artwork, and very attractively (and reasonably priced) at that. An excellent buy.

Nice clean lines, sophisticated look. Very modern. Good materials. Only disadvantage is that once you put your frames content in the frame, it is not too easy to change out frequently. Having to disassemble the frame each time is a disadvantage. But if you do not plan to do that often, the look is good.

I already owned several 8x12 Framatic thin-edge frames that I was very pleased with, and checked this site on the chance that they'd have an odder size -- 9x12. They did, and I bought a pair to frame some movie press kit covers, which look terrific -- a welcome, economical, sharp-looking alternative to the cost of getting an entire large movie poster framed. The frames are also very sturdy and easy to use. A great buy.

These frames are great. They are built solidly, open and close very well and work well if you like the focus to be on your picture and not the frame.

The Framatic frames are wondeful. The quality is very good, they are easy to put together - yet they do not look cheap at all when assembled. Very good product!
