Pink Brush Soap

Cleans oil, acrylic, and watercolor paint from brushes, and also conditions and helps to reshape brushes. Lotionized, but leaves no greasy after-feel for cleaning hands. Mona Lisa pink soap has found many uses besides artists brushes, including the cleaning of jewelry, stones, stove tops, microwave ovens, and greasy skillets. Remove stains from clothing, upholstery, and carpets. Contains no chlorides, alkalis, phosphates, solvents, or alcohol.

I'm sure this stuff is excellent for cleaning acrylics. However I use oils when painting. I don't really think this is any better than moisturizing hand soap for cleaning the turpentine out of your brushes and keeping them supple. I could be wrong, just my opinion. If you use oils, I wouldn't recommend this.

I've used this product for many years, but today is the first time I saw what it really can do! I had somehow gotten a blob of Alizarin Crimson on the bottom of my shoe and, of course, tracked across my grey-green carpet. I removed as much as I could by blotting with a paper towel then applying Pink Soap directly onto the spot. After a little agitation with my fingernail and more blotting then flooding the spot with clean water and blotting some more with a towel; the spots came OUT! All of it!! HOORAY! Thanks again for a great product!!!

Just started using this soap within the past month. It was recommended by a fellow artist forum member. Seems to work fine, gets the residual paint out of brushes. Haven't tried it on really dried oil or acrylic, since I don't let my brushes sit long enough to get that bad. I like it, and I'll keep on using it.

I have used pink soap in doing ceramics, cleaning paint off clothes, and so many other things. Today, I even cleaned cranberry juice off my living room chair. It's great stuf and cleans just about anything and everything imaginable. I love it.

This is the best soap, I use it to get stains out of clothes, goop out of my brushes, clean up spills/splatter of paint, and wash my hands. Pleasant odor, and never changes the color of fabric. Not harsh to skin, mild. Use it.

Yes, the Pink Soap is good for brushes. However, I use the soap about once a week to take grease spots out of clothing. Have even had success with items that have gone through the washer, dryer. Just rub small amt. into spot, add hot water (for grease), rub some more, rinse the area. If it is not gone after drying on a hanger, try it again. You might be surprised.

Very good on acrylic paint, makes cleaning brushes easier, with a better final result. By leaving a bit of soap on the brush, one can re-shape the point and keep them good as new.

I love Pink Soap. I haven't found anything else that works as well for cleaning brushes. It even smells nice.

As some pick the "blue" stuff for sweeteners, I always pick the "pink stuff" for cleaning and conditioning my art brushes. I believe in sticking with the known comodity and thus, I use Mona Lisa pink brush soap. If it isn't broke, don't fix or improve it. Lois Zaye

This can really clean anything; but I use it to clean my paint brushes. It has a preserver and conditioner which is excellent for the brushes.
