I love this stuff! I get great control with my pens without all the smearing and bleed of paper.

I've used this Matte Acetate for years for tracing a design onto porcelain for overglaze painting. The dull surface on one side permits writing with almost any object. Glazed porcelain is a difficult surface to directly draw on. I recently ordered the larger tablets for use with Watercolor and colored pencil drawings. I used to use the regular tracing paper for watercolor but the Matte Acetate is so much clearer. Even if I am free-hand drawing for a watercolor painting, I don't like to draw right on the paper because you can get smudging and if you do a lot of erasing (which I do) it does some damage to the paper. I complete my drawing (in pencil) on the Matte Acetate and then transfer it (by tracing with a ball point pen) to the watercolor paper. This is the same way I transer a design to the glazed porcelain surface. Much cleaner!

Wonderful medium for drawing. Allows for easy erasing. Terrific finished effect for not only graphics, but also portrait drawing.

I have just started using acetate to help with my botanical illustrations..great way to manipulate blossoms and stems, combine plants in one illustration and avoid potentially ruinous erors! Very easy to work on and very forgiving.

I cant imagine not using acetate in my art work. Very helpful in overlays.

I am not pleased with this brand of matte acetate. I use the product for fine pencil drawings and i found that Pro Art's version is not 'matte' enough to produce a quality drawing. I give it 5 stars for its tracing ability, however.
