In calligraphy, we need excellent quality inks that are as black and dense as possible to make our work stand out. Pelikan 4001 ink meets our standards...its quite a superior product.

I've been using the inks with dip pens and found them extraordinarily smooth and comfortable to use. They clean up easily and do not clog my pens.

This is the best ink for crayon resist. It goes on smoothly and does not etch into the crayon or oil pastel. It is liquid enough that it soaks through the uncolored areas with a clear, clean product. The kids love it.
