I purchased this Bob Ross Master Paint Set for my husband, who has never painted ever. The set and he were a success. Instructions and video showed him all he needed to do the first landscape. And not bad for a beginner. You want to paint try this item it's great.

This kit is great! Everything you need to start painting. The insturctions are a bit hard to follow. My advice is to watch the show a follow him live.

I am a new painter, but grew up around this mileau as my dad and brother are artists. I know the value of having an expert select what you need in paints and tools. Although the kit contains quality items for the experienced artist, buying the Bob Ross painting set takes out the guesswork out of selecting what is needed efficiently and effectively, especially helpful for new artists...and the detailed instructions are a bonus! Would have liked one sample painting demonstrated on the tape, that included the use of the tools within that painting as a starter and practice exercise.

Great price for the quality paints and tools that come with this kit--didn't realize a video was included so was pleasantly surprised--fun to watch but annoying background noise. I'm taking a class as well which makes the process easier to understand.

The tools--the brushes, knife, paint--are quite good...however, I was hoping for more instruction. The pamphlet has 2 pages of instruction and on the 15 min. or so VHS tape Bob Ross does so much shilling for other Bob Ross products you almost think it's Bob Ross satire.
