Very nice. Big tube. Will buy again.

Absolutley great paint. And arguably the best so called student grade paint around. I've used Van Gogh oils for years in both illustration and fine art; and with the exception of a few colors only availble in Rembrandt Oils, have used them in place of Rembrandt Oils which I used for years as well. If the tubes were unmarked, you'd never know the difference.

Aside Van Gogh being my favorite artist I can only say the product is unmeasurable.

I really like Van Gogh oil paints. I mix it with water-oils without any problems. I recently got Van Gogh oil paint and I wash it with soap and water no problem. Try this product you won't lose your money on theses items...

Van Gogh is a line made by Talens that is supposedly a "student grade" paint (Rembrandt being Talens' more "professional" or "artist's grade" line). However, as a professional artist, I've used Van Gogh paint (along with many other brands/lines) for many years, and have had great success with it. I like the consistency of the paints, and I've never had any problems with mixing them (some people have complained about muddiness--I think maybe the problem is with the artist and not the paint in that case). I've also had no problems to date with colors fading or changing (fugitiveness), or with paintings cracking (despite my occasional tendency to break the "fat over lean" rule in unusual ways). The paints are bright (which I like) and seem to be loaded with pigment, despite Talens' claim that the pigment concentrations are slightly less--I had a tube of ivory black, for instance, that seemed to last forever, because a tiny bit will provide extensive coverage. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong.

I really like the Van Gogh paints! They're great. I use them with my water mixables and they mix in great with them and i have no problems. I happen to like the buttery consistency of them when i dont mix them with my water mixables. All in all, a very good paint! And a very good product to boot! If you havent tried them yet, do! You won't regret it!

Sometimes a bit too 'buttery' in consistency, making it almost sloppy, but this aside, overall reliable performance.
