I like this paper, although I didn't realize how smooth it was when I bought it. It doesn't have the texture of most charcoal and pastel. I still got nice results with it, just wasn't able to layer as much as with a more textured paper.

great paper for working with soft pastels. It also works very nice with oil pastels. It has a nice soft feel- enough texture, but not too much.

I purchased some of this Artagain paper in black. I used soft pastels on it, and the results were fabulous! It created an interesting effect, which looked like the people in the portraits were coming out of the dark. I love this paper, and would certainly buy it again. I recommend testing fixitives on a test sheet, though, as the fixitive tends to darken portraits in pastel on this paper. I am not sure if it was thepastels, the paper or the fixitive, but test first!
