Excellent material for carving letterboxing stamps. Easy to transfer designs and accepts stamp pad ink for a crisp print. Will definitely purchase additional matieral for future projects.

I used these stamp pads to carve letterboxing stamps. Although they are not too thick, they are easy to carve intricate designs. They can also be mounted on wood.

Absolute best medium for stamp carving!

I bought several of these stamp blocks in order to carve some stamps for letterboxing. They carve very easily. I also recommend using the Staedtler Mastercarve tool set for carving these blocks.

Being a beginner stamp carver, "the pink stuff" quickly became a mainstay in my carving box. Transfer images adhere easily; hand-drawn images are easy to create. No crumbling of the material. Stamp making is easy with this medium.

This is a wonderful product for my Letterboxing hobby, which requires carving homemade stamps. The carvability with this block is smooth and easy. I love this stuff. It is a little harder to carve, but it's worth it. It doesn't crumble like the white stuff and it lasts a lot longer!

PERFECT beginner blocks! These are easy to carve and hold up well. No crumbling and small enough to work with. I might like it a bit thicker.

Speedy Stamp is one of the best carving mediums around. Stamps do not crumble after being carved, even after many, many stampings. The material is soft enough to give while carving, yet firm enough to hold it's shape. I recommend Speedy Stamp over any ther Speedball carving medium.

This is great stuff for stamp carving. From what I'm told it holds up much better than the "white stuff". Makes carving a breeze.

I love this stuff. I make a lot of stamps and use this for almost every one. And I even like the handles that came in the starter set -- though I do use a larger variety of blades with them.

I made candy canes for a Xmas card insert, just take time, I uses my exacto knife to cut out line of cane and then the small carving tool for the striped, was great to stamp using metalic ink and embossed.

This is not the worst carving material, but it is not the best either. I found the material seems to vary from batch to batch whether it is smooth and easy to cut or stiff and grainy. The carving kit is useless: the handle is uncomfortable for beginning carvers and the choice of blades is abysmal. I recommend a #1 liner and a #4 u gouge to beginners with the decent but not wonderful plastic handle which will at least hold the blades between uses. For a company which began as the leader of linoleum cutting tools, Speedball has taken a nosedive in quality: the blades almost always need sharpening, and the tidy, comfortable wooden handles with metal ferrules are a collectors item.

While decent, this carving block was not my favorite to work with. It did cut very smoothly and easily, although it was quite stretchy, so it was harder to get a good line than a more firm material. Overall, if you don't mind the stretch, or if that is what you're looking for, this is a good product.

I much prefer the 'pink stuff' over the white MasterCarve as a beginner carver. It's more forgiving of skips of the blade and produces wonderful stamps easily.

Loved it. Easy to use with both stamp carvers and with X-acto knives. My children did not have any issues using this blocks.

Speedy Stamp Blocks is very easy to carve. Details come out looking nice and clean. This product is a must for anyone creating stamps.

Great stamp making blocks! I've produced several quality letterbox stamps with NO crumbling of the material!

I have used several types of carving blocks and the Speed Ball Speedy Stamp "pink stuff" is definitely my favorite, even more than Master Carve. It seems to be a bit denser, so your block cutting tools won't "slip" across the surface as much as with MasterCarve and EZ Cut. It holds ink very well. Two thumbs up!

Great carving block. I've been using it for card stamping, You can make very detailed stamps and won't crumble. The speedball cutting tool is great.
