I have been using Sceptre brushes for many years. They can't be beat for the price.

Very nice brushes, I have several.

I love these brushes! I use them for detail work where I don't want any brush strokes to show. They work great with oils.
Rated by: Katherine W. in Chinook, MT
These are excellent brushes. No, they're not kolinskies, but they don't come with a kolinsky price either. I ordered a 12 to check them out and it quickly became my favorite brush. I felt quite confident when I ordered a 16 from MisterArt at a great price. Specifically, these brushes have a very good capacity, and release pigment uniformly. They come to a good point, but the point is not intrusive as I find most synthetics to be. The Scepter Gold II brushes are much better balanced - enough stiffer hair in the middle of the brush but not too much. Considering what they deliver for the price, these are great brushes.
