Medium texture artist canvas mounted on an acid-free hardboard core. These new professional grade canvas boards are constructed throughout with the highest quality, non-acidic archival materials. The tempered hardboard core will not warp or rot. Mounted with acid-free adhesive, the painting surface is the same Fredrix medium texture, 100 percent cotton duck used on their finest prestretched canvas. Grounded with a proprietary, two coat, acid-free formula of acrylic-titanium gesso primer, these canvas boards are truly archival. They are suitable for oil or acrylic painting. Attractively printed backing. Available in single boards or cases of 12 of the same size.

Fredrix canvas is one of the best! In my 15 years of painting, it is the one I will always search for more than any other for my painting needs!

Good for what they are. I hate canvas boards because of the warping. But, they're great if you need a canvas board. No way around it I suppose.

Excellent canvas panel, highly recommended. Takes acrylic paint beautifully (and I'm sure oils too, though I don't use them). Great price. I buy them constantly.

These canvases are a great value, take paint beautifully, and are crafted with near flawless skill. Well worth the money.

I prefer to paint on hardboard and have used masonite type surfaces for years. According to all research I find, canvas mounted on hardboard is the ultimate surface.[Gamlin] I have been using the Pentura panels [16X20] and like them very much, but would be heavy in a larger format. I tried the Fredrix panels same size and like them very much. Their thinner construction allows larger size, however, there should be some information on the back of the panels to seperate them from the cheapo student grade panels made by Fredrix and a number of others. For $8 give me some fancy writing, Thanks

Easy to use, tote around, and store. They don't have the nice spring of stretched canvas, but very nice to work on nevertheless.

I used the Fredrick archival canvas boards on a recent painting trip. I like the firmness of the board and the canvas front. I recommend them for plein aire painting and or knife painting. L.

Ordered several of these boards to try them out. Glad I did. Good quality canvas, light weight for travel.

Bought these canvas boards as a gift for someone who paints. After receiving these boards, I found a few thinner than I realized. I rechecked this website and wished I'd ordered a few other canvas boards. Some a tad thicker than the ones I bought. Can't wait to see how they like their gift...

I was very surprised at the quality and feel of this canvas board, but Fredrix makes good products. This is lightweight and good if you are doing plein air and don't want to carry something big that might get punctured easily. I like the stretched canvas the best, but this has just a different feel.

The best canvas board I have ever used. I work with mixed media and need a board to work. These are so worth the money!

i was surprised by the quality of these boards. it would be great if fredrix would also make them with courser canvas and linen surfaces.

excellent, excellent. love their boards, now I don't feel like I'm using a cheesy product (I don't think their boards are cheesy, but some people consider boards not worthy).
