Gesso is so important and I've tried every type I could find. Golden is my favorite by a large margin and I can't see how anyone could have a different opinion. It's the BEST!

Worked out great, too bad I came up with the idea after it'd been invented... Great for experimenting with new ideas, textures, and acrylic mixtures...

I like the gesso, but the jar is akward. A squeeze container would be better.

Why couldn't I have thought of inventing BLACK gesso! (I just discovered black gesso--It's so logical!) So easy to use and excellent quality of the product delivers every time! You are definitely "golden," Golden!!! Your prices are not always the lowest, but the "quality" is among the highest.

Great price, great products! Thanks MisterArt.com

As another review said, it is far runnier than one might expect of a gesso, but it makes for an excellent rich matte black pour.

This gesso ground seems fine, though it is a little less thick than I am used to. I will buy it again if it continues to be competitively priced.

Nice, smooth, quality gesso. Great for creating special effects with paint.
