Economy Hake Brushes

by Yasutomo

These sheep hair brushes can be used with a wide range of media, including watercolor and oil, and are particularly well-suited for ceramic art. A metal ferrule protects the brush roots. Inexpensive and long lasting.

There are times in my painting process when only this kind of brush will do. I make large, abstract oil paintings with a variety of tools. These brushes are the best for large areas of smooth paint, or for dragging through thick layers and really mixing things up.

This has become a favorite of mine next to my badger brush. Softened my decorative paint finish nicely.

This brush is truly amazing! I did not expect the results I got with a brush I didn't have to pay a fortune for! I will buy a lot more of these! Thank You!

The Hake Brush gives me the desired effect especially when painting Desert, Clouds and Mountains which are beautiful here in Southern New Mexico.

i use hake brushes as a great, inexpensive alternative to costly blending brushes for faux finishes and gives a soft look with glazes.
