Product Questions and Answers

How can you remove Fabric Stiffener?

- Asked by cathye on 10-Dec-12

The Aleene's Fabric Stiffener becomes permanent once it has dried and there is no remover for this product. However, the stiffener is water-based, you can try to soak the fabric in water.

Hi I been looking for this fabric glue for a long time. The store stopped carrying so that made me have to go try something new. See I make handmade baskets, I like to stay with one product. And you know a 8oz fabric glue cost almost six dollars, thats too high. I brought so many bottles of fabric glue I go though six bottles a week. I guess when you don't use the computer this is what happens, but now I am very happy I ran across this site.

I was unable to find this product in the Worcester area. It is the best fabric stiffener for crocheted snowflakes. My daughter makes these snowflakes in many, many, designs (25 +) as Christmas gifts. She makes about 75 to 80 each year. This is the draping liquid that she has found works the best. Thank you for shipping promptly.

This is so much easier and better than the starches sprays of days gone by. Very versatile for craft and homecare.
