The best I have ever used.....they work perfectly over watercolor and acrylic paint.
Rated by: Joy S. in High Point, NC
This white fine point sharpie is great for highlighing in my illustrations, and a great time saver. I have found that the tips dry out fairly quickly, even though alot of paint is still in them - but just dip in water, and they come right back. That is the only reason for 4 stars - love them!

I LOVE!! these pens!! What more can I say....
Rated by: rebecca k. in gilbert, AZ
I love these pens. I have tried every white pen on the market and the only one I like is the Sharpie poster pen in extra fine. Perfect for journaling and look so cool on dark paper, these also work REALLY well on acrylic, vinyl etc.
Rated by: Sunshine D. in B.C., UT
These markers were OK. First, they were not as wide as I thought they would be when I placed the order. These bled down the window when I was trying to write so I had a lot of clean up. They also seemed to dry up quickly in the middle of writing. I was constantly shaking them to get the ink back. I have used other brands that I had no problems with. The ink did stay on the windows once it was there, which was good.
Rated by: Allison P. in little Rock, AR
The white markers are the only ones I have found that are opaque enough for my scrapbooking needs. I heard a rumor they were going to be discontinued so I ordered a dozen!
Rated by: Julie P. in San Diego, CA
These pens are amazing....odorless and they write on practically any surface!
Rated by: maxine g. in kilauea, HI
These pens are great, the ink lasts longer than other liquid paint pens. I never have a problem getting the flow to start and the variety of colors and nub sizes is impressive.
Rated by: kristen k. in faribault, MN
These pens are the best for scrapbooking/journaling on dark paper. They are apparently discontinued so they are impossible to find in stores. I was relieved to find them at

i love how the ink just glides smoothly

Very nice pens for working on vinyl toys. True that they are not completely waterproof, but a good clear coat takes care of that.
Rated by: Man T. in Grand Rapids, MI
Very nice markers. They work great for blending, and I love the way they dry to a nice, flat color. No Streaking.
Rated by: Sandra M. in Ware Shoals, SC
I have used Washington Poster opaque liquid chalk for years and to date had not found anything comparable. I only bought red and white but am anxious to try more. So far so good. I plan to order more Sharpie brand soon. I am a faithful Sharpie permanent marker user and in my book there is no other.
Rated by: mickey w. in San Antonio, TX
I use the markers at my job and for the Lions Club.
Rated by: Lance m. in austin, TX
These markers are perfect for painting on surfboards. I also have been playing around with painting on mylar and am very impressed with the streak free finish regardless of how many passes I make. Anybody looking for a very nice "paint marker" (really in a league of their own) should def. check these out too. Oh, they don't write on CD's though.
Rated by: Cabe B. in Dallas, TX
best paint pens by far, u can use oil paints over them and they don't run, plus they are flat instead of glossy so they make nice outline or touch up pens. I love these dang pens so much!
Rated by: Matthew B. in pasadena, MD
These are some of the best paint markers on the market. As a previous reviewer stated though, you have to be careful to avoid smearing until you seal the paint.

The poster-paint marker in gold is wonderful for lettering on cardstock. It flows easily and looks great. I ordered 1 dozen so that I could share it with my lettering friends and have extras for myself. It's a keeper!!!! and I was thrilled to find a good source for them at MisterArt.
Rated by: Marc K. in Baltimore, MD
These were excellent… great colors. good sharp tips as well. You can easily cover up a nother cover with a few layers I just wish they dried a bit faster. Other than that they are great
Rated by: Freida F. in Tupelo, MS
Totally AWESOME paint pens! Used white on black poster board and also on cardstock and was extremely pleased with the result. Color did not fade in the least. Highly recommend.
Rated by: Lesley K. in Fairfax, VA
I bought an assortment of sizes and colors and love them all -- great for altering magazine photos and edging ephemera -- my son, who's 14, loves them, too -- he likes the fact that they mix, "just like real paint" -- customizable!
Rated by: Sharon L. in Superior, WI
Love the extra fine sharpies! The white one looks awesome on black paper!
Rated by: diane . in New York, NY
Very nice paint pens, BUT even though they say it's water resistant, etc, it DID smear a bit when I put varnish over it. I'm worried it would smear more if I wasn't careful. Still, good paint pens...
Rated by: Jan M. in Morris Plains, NJ
These aren't consistently opaque, (i.e. the magenta is a lot more so than the white of yellow) but I'm enjoying having another "paint pen" to play with.
