Product Questions and Answers

Are these water-resistant? I want to use it as a resist with dye.

- Asked by Anne on 06-Aug-13
Answer

These are not sold for that purpose, so I cannot say. The two products that we sell as resist for dyes are the Ranger resist, and the Jacquard Gutta resist.

I bought these for a four year old and will not be ordering them again. They are kind of oily and messy. The colors are limited. They are rounded and I would prefer it if they came to a point.(yes I tried them too). The little one presses too hard on them, and I don't want to save the art she makes with these because it is so oily. They might work out for you but I was disappointed.

These babies are amazing! My four-year-old daughter received them as a gift, and she's used them non-stop. The colors are so vibrant, and the way they glide onto the paper is SO satisfying! Our whole family colors with these now...they're also great for layering over with black ink and making scratch-off art.
