Very smooth pencils to draw with, in fact the best ones I have used yet. I have done 2 works since I bought these, and not once were there any clumps, scratchy particles, or problems at all with them. Pay the little bit more, and get a set of these if your serious about your work quality.

I loved the variety of these pencils. I hadn't had a chance to experiment with FaberCastell products, and this gave me a wide range of pencils to try. They have excellent usability and are easily blendable and easy to shade with. I recommend them to anyone looking for a great selection of pencils!
