Can Double Tack mounting film by Grafix be used to adhere a painting done on un-stretched canvas or on paper to a cradled-wood painting panel? The sides of the panel could then be painted and it would not be necessary to go through the expense of framing. - Asked by Betty on 09-Jul-13
Answer
It should work to mount canvas to wood, as these are two of the recommended surfaces, and because it is acid-free, it would be good for your painting. However, it is a permanent adhesive and not repositionable, so make sure it is positioned correctly before sticking it down. - Answered by MisterArt on 10-Jul-13Does it bend easy? - Asked by Suzanne on 27-Jan-13
