I've begun using the pencils in the drawing, now being done. The lead is soft and applies so well, so smooth. They sharpen really well in my electric pencil sharpener, and in the drawings being done, I'm working very much with point, and sharpen, often. The colours are fantastic! I'm so happy to have ordered the 24 colour packet, and order 2!

Even more awesome than erasable colored pencils is a place that lets you buy individual colors! This is such a great help in allowing me to replenish my craft boxes, I can't thank MisterArt.com enough!

These pencils are great. The color is pretty good and they don't smudge or transfer their color. Color pencils are a really good way to highlight books that have thin paper. Regular highlighters have ink that can go through paper, but if you use colored pencils, this doesn't happen and you can devise a system using special notations and specifically notate special words. So, you can use several colors of pencils to do this. They are much easier to use than the conventional highlighters. These are good because they can erase. They don't erase perfectly, but they do somewhat and it's effective enough. A great price and with a very good color that doesn't rub off, these pencils are your best bet.

The pencils are great and the service excellent.

A wonderful pencil that is well-suited for bookeeping entry and notes. Sharpens to a strong point with good, bold color. Easily erases mistakes as well-Thanks for offering this quality product.

The thing I like about these pencils is that they offer a variety of good color that does not smudge for the most part, yet they do erase. So I like them for drawing better than graphite.

The service was very good, and delivery was prompt. I had been very excited to find these pencils, which I have used for years in my work as a copyeditor, because they have become increasingly hard to find (and the prices are very low). I'm sorry to say that the violet pencils (my favorite color) were very disappointing (red and green were OK). The color is not as vibrant as the ones I used to get, and the lead breaks constantly--it seems to be brittle, which also makes the writing less smooth. The erasers just make a smudge. Also, I find it annoying that, although they come in a box of twelve, they all have an individual price sticker wrapped around them that is impossible to remove without a sticky mess. Has the quality changed? Or were the pencils old?

Is it my imagination, or has the quality of Col-erase pencils declined over the years. We use Carmine red as a staple in this studio, the lead seems to collapse much easier and the erasers seem harder... anyone else find this??

Great Service and product!!!

These are the BEST erasable colored pencils. I use them exclusively for marking proofs. Clients can see my comments clearly and write over or erase them if need be. It's nice to find a vendor that has a reliable stock of boxes of 12 all in one color. Thank you!

A must for doing colored pencil work. I use these in place of graphite for doing the inital drawing. Clean and doesn't put a grey under your work like graphite will. I keep yellow and blue around to cover almost all my preliminary sketching jobs.

A good quality colored pencil with a very hard, pencil-like lead. I find it's most useful art-wise (for coloring) when paired with a soft lead colored pencil like Prismacolor. It will erase normally almost as well as a writing pencil.

They give great color and they really erase!!
Rated by: Lauren H. in Leesburg, OH
These colored pencils are great for somebody learning to draw portraits in colour. These also give a soft, gentle colour, unlike Verithin or Prismacolor.

Col-erase pencils are the only choice for this editor--they really erase, and the darker colors (my favorites: violet, tuscan red, carmine red) show up beautifully in photocopies. The single-color boxes are hard to find, and fairly expensive when compared with standard No. 2s, but I've tried other brands and wound up frustrated, with messy and hard-to-read manuscripts. In the end, they're worth the effort and expense.

Col-erase pencils are my first choice! The only problem I've encountered is when the erasers become hard and instead of erasing they smear your work.
