Supreme professional quality. A virtually perfect color range; many are truly unique, such as the high transparency colors (transparent oxides, Rembrandt Rose, etc.). Each color is made from the best and purest pigments, ground to extreme fineness in pure linseed oil from the first pressing. Poppy oil is used for white and a few light shades to deter yellowing. The raw materials are admitted to the production process only after stringent laboratory monitoring. The colors are ground to their optimal fineness, depending on the properties of the pigments. Thoroughly tested for brilliance, fineness, drying time, elasticity, viscosity and surface adhesion.

Rembrandt Artist's Oil Colors come in 40 ml and 150 ml tubes.

Rembrandt paints are excellent but the tubes are a disaster. I had to give up painting with them because of the tubes leaking.
Rated by: margherita m. in chester, ct
What can i say about your paints, they are true colors, smooth, don't dry up and the price is right. I love all you have.
Rated by: Ed F. in Honolulu, HI
I have used this brand for over 34 years. It is the best oil paint.
Rated by: liching l. in dallas, TX
beautiful colors but lousy package! They broke easily.
Rated by: robert s. in Savannah, GA
I recently purchased several tubes of Rembrandt oil paint and have to say that it is of exceptional quality. I have tried several other brands in the past, but Rembrandt is far and away superior to all the others. Even though it is a bit pricier than many brands, the quality is certainly worth it.
Rated by: Michael S. in Titusville, NJ
The consistency and workability of the metalic colors were superb. They added depth, while also adding luster. The caps of the tubes negated a perfect score.
Rated by: Eva S. in princeton, NJ
Nearly a year ago, I bought a large number of the Rembrandt oil paints. The quality of the paint is superb, I wouldn't give a penny for the way the tubes close. The cap simply doesn't want to fit. I store all the tubes slightly elevated to make sure they don't leak. I have Windsor tubes more than a decade old and they close perfectly, instantly, and effortlessly. I will think twice before I order the Rembrandt line again.

While I have used Rembrandt pastels for many years, this was the first time I've purchased any of their oil colors. I have been delightfully surprised!
Rated by: Jane B. in La Canada, CA
You have a good selection of my favorite Rembrandt colors. Thank you!
Rated by: Vickie D. in Fairhope, AL
These paints are beautiful and vibrant, I love how smooth and easy they are to use...I stopped using my other oils after trying these. I love the gold and copper paints for special effects. Also, my hat is off to you Mister Art for your prompt and speedy delivery of products.
Rated by: Angela K. in bowling green, KY
I love the color and buttery feel of this paint. The transparent colors are wonderful. ONE THING THAT IS IMPORTANT...The tops drive me crazy as being hard to get on after a few times of use. If they redesigned their tops this would be the best you could purchase.
Rated by: Sue K. in Niceville, FL
Rich, thick, buttery. Beautiful to "feel" on the brush.

When there are items that I can not find around my area, I can always find it here! Thanks so much! You stock hard to find items!
Rated by: Ryan H. in long beach, CA
Great paint but the cap is hard to get back on
Rated by: jackie s. in tulsa, OK
There is a reason I continue to buy Rembrandt paint, I love it. Great consistency, colors and good price.
Rated by: Ellen B. in Burke, VA
Love this paint! Colors are vibrant and consistency is perfect.
Rated by: W. M. in Birmingham, AL
Consistent color, smooth, and they don't get "sticky" after a few hours. Lay out a blob, and it's good all day. The only oils I use.
Rated by: Robert B. in Naples, ID
MisterArt.com...fast and accurate, good price, too. Really like the tops on Rembrandt oils. Professional quality.
Rated by: Timothy C. in Philomont, VA
These are great oils. They come out of the tube fluid, well-mixed and not runny. Good tinting. The Caput Mortuum Violet is wonderful in portraits for shadows. Very consistent.
Rated by: chris winfree k. in malibu, CA
I was required to use these paints at a class. Am I ever glad! These are the finest purist colours I have ever used. The worst painting looks beautiful with these paints. I highly recommend them to everyone. The titian white and the rose are indispensible.
Rated by: Joseph B. in Los Angeles, CA
These are great colors...very finely ground pigments, unlike other brands of "professional" quality colors, some of which can be downright gritty. No problems with the caps, yet.
Rated by: Jamie G. in Brewster, NY
I have to agree with comments made about these caps. You have to be careful to put them on very delicately, so as not to damage the threads. Some colors give much better pigment concentrations than others. Their cadmiums are great!
Rated by: Jennifer C. in Huh?, PA
Love the paints, hate the caps! They never go back on correctly.
Rated by: Patricia A. in Charlestown, RI
these paints are really creamy. the color is true and they stay wet longer than other oils i have used. the only problem i have with them is the cap on the tube does not maintain it's threads. the caps are almost impossible to replace. i will continue to use this product though, even with the cap problem. the paint is rich.
