Product Questions and Answers

Can this clay be used to create jewelry?

- Asked by Ginger on 17-Aug-13

The Plus Modeling Clay is not recommended for jewelry molds. We suggest using the EasyCast Casting Epoxy by Environmental Tech.

- Answered by MisterArt on 27-Aug-13

The "white" clay looks sort of grey in the package. Does it "whiten" as it dries?

- Asked by Frank Merritt on 04-Mar-13

The Plus Modeling Clay dries to a natural tone. The clay will not be white.

- Answered by MisterArt on 14-Mar-13

How long does it take to harden naturally? Is there anything special that I need to do to assist the hardening process?

- Asked by Le on 12-Dec-12

Complete drying time is about 24 hours. You can speed up the dry time by firing the clay as well.

So far I really like this, much better than Das clay. It has no unpleasant odor and is very smooth, takes detail well. Has a distinct leather hard phase where you can work that way, really neat. Hasn't been long enough to really test finished strength though as that takes two weeks (it's dry though in a day or two).

Activa Plus clay is so easy to work with. It is smooth and doesn't flake or crumble once dry. I have not sculpted in years, and now I am hooked! I will always use Activa - for all of my future projects.

My students really enjoyed working with the clay. I think playing with it was as much fun as molding with it. It was very therapeutic. It was very practical because we didn't need a kiln.

This is great air-dry clay. The clay dried quickly and dried hard without crumbling.
