I use the vellum for transferring my pattern pieces to the glass for cutting. It's weight provides a stable base for tracing around and if the vellum pieces get wet, wiping them off and allowing them to air dry allows me to use them multiple times, with care. On the minus side, the lines made by the smaller, sharper drawing pens leave a fuzzy line, not a sharp, crisp line.

I love this stuff!!! If you are intmidated by learning to draw anatomy...or anything else for that matter...try drawing on this! It erases beautifully & lifts off with a kneadable eraser in light increments, if needed, wonderfully. You really can do no wrong with this. It WILL buckle if used with a water-based medium however.

while this paper is great for tracing, its finish is not extra smooth leaving rough edges using a fine point pen. wouldn't recommend it for illustration and line work.

The paper is great for drafting and pencil drawing, however to do line drawings in ink, I find that it doesn't soak it up fast enough

I simply like tracing vellum for drawing on with ink, and this heavy weight buckles less than others.
