Color EasyCast with Opaque Pigments for solid colors, Transparent Dyes for a colored glass look, or Faux Granite Powder for the look of stone. Mix and pour EasyCast into Jewelry Molds to create unique decorative items.

The epoxy takes approximately 24 hours for a soft-cure and 72 hours to achieve a final hard-cure.

Product Questions and Answers

Will this Easycast Casting epoxy work well without a vacuum chamber?

- Asked by Henry J. A. on 15-Sep-13

A vacuum chamber is not required for the Easycast Casting epoxy. If needed, you can use a hair dryer and pass heated air quickly over the surface. Be careful, as excess heat can melt or warp plastic mold.

Great casting resin and easy to use. I use a pressure pot for crystal clear casts.

Just want to add a tip that has worked for me as far as the bubblesformed by the mixing> to easily get rid of the bubbles use a heat gun>pass back and forth over the top of the resin ( not to close you dont want to "cook" it :0) and you dant want to melt the mold! )wait a few secondsand pass again if needed. Another tip: If the temps in your room are not warm enogh to cure your resin properly try these:: First as always cover your work so as not to get dust etc.into it. Placing it in a tupperware type dish with a lid is nice, and 1)place it on top of your fridge if its warm up there or 2)on top of the cable box(use a sheet of newspaper to protect here), 4)and one other good one place on top of a heating pad at lowest temp. Also placing the seperate bottles into cups of warm water before using seems to help it cure faster as well. My favorite though, you may or may not want to do this: if you have an oven with a pilot that stays on permamently when oven is off, place trays on the rack overnight and ive never had a problem yet with tackiness etc.! works for me anyways.

EasyCast is really easy to use. I have read a few complaints about the number of steps; however I find that the ability to neatly cast resin with a 1:1 ratio and extremely low odor is preferable to traditional resin. Traditional mixing (resin + a few drops of hardener) can make your eyes water! The EasyCast dries beautifully and it's great to be able to make smaller batches of resin for more detailed projects. Make sure your room is warm enough!

I'd only ever used the hardware store types of resin and thought I'd give EasyCast a try. EasyCast is just that - easy! As long as you mix the 1:1 ratio properly and make sure the resin is at the proper temperature you'll have a beautiful clear resin cast. It is not tacky at all and easy to drill into. I highly recommend this product!

I have worked with resins and epoxies for 40 years. I originally bought the Easycast in order to pot vacuum tube transformers inside metal casings. The resin/hardener worked better than I expected. It degassed quite quickly even after vigorous mixing. It did not exotherm as does some epoxies and the long working life was exactly what I wanted. All in all I was very pleased with the Easycast epoxy and will definitly purchase more in the future.

This stuff is fabulous. It is by far my favorite resin to work with. Very low odor and can safely be used indoors. :O)

I really enjoy working with EasyCast! Yes, there are 2 mixing steps that need to be timed, with pouring from one cup to another in between, but that's not a big deal. I've used traditional casting epoxy - the kind that you add a specific number of hardening agent per ounces of epoxy ... ugh, no thank you! It filled my studio, and home (I run my biz from home) with noxious fumes that lingered for days. EasyCast has no odor, self-degasses beautifully, and has always been consistent in it's finished product color. Always be sure to measure the two parts precisely, equally, and you can't fail!

Great product, very pleased, easier than I had thought.

Despite the detailed (multi-step) blending process and the limited working temp range, the results make this product worth while. Great for those custom shapes and special pieces.

I am very impressed with this particular epoxy. The ease of use in the mixing and application is great. Clean up of tools and mixing containers is somewhat tough, but overall the product is great.

Well, that was fun...never used epoxy before and enjoyed working with this product. It took a while to fully harden but I live in Lousiana where humidity is always a problem. Its dried crystal clear. I am very happy with results and will be back to buy the larger size.

cures reliably at 70F overnight. no sticky surfaces like polyester, but some tiny bubbles. need a vacuum chamber to remove bubbles.

The end product is nice, but mixing is a bit involved.
