Good for hinging heavy works of art on paper. With its high tensile strength, it can also be used to seal the back of picture frames and the sides of photographic glass plates. The base stock of the tape has a pH of 8.5 and a 3% calcium carbonate buffer. The special PVA adhesive coating of the tape is water activated, reversible, and has a pH of approximately 7.0.
