Galeria Long Handled Brushes

by Winsor & Newton

These long brushes have specially tapered heads that prevent splaying and ensure a perfectly controlled width of mark. Though designed specifically for use with acrylic colors, Galeria Long Handle Filbert Brushes are also suitable for use with oil and Griffin Alkyd colors.

The unique mix of polyester filaments in the Galeria Brushes provides perfect control and responsiveness, rinses out easily and has excellent shape retention. These brushes feature seamless, corrosion resistant ferrules and dark burgundy stained handles.

I love this brush! It holds it's shape, has good spring, great point. Just wish they lasted longer. They last for 2 weeks of heavy painting but it's the best that I have found. At least they are relatively cheap! I buy them by the dozens.

I use the Galleria brushes almost exclusively. They are great. They have that "spring back quality" that I am looking for. I do not paint with a heavy hand, so I am not concerned with leaving heavy brush marks behind. The only problem is that the ferule sometimes comes loose from the handle.

I like these brushes because they are soft, yet hold their shape well. They are springy, too. For guiding oil paint around a curve or keeping a line, they are great!

These are just ok, they don't have much stiffness.

I've tried a lot of brushes, and these are my favorites. Very firm and springy, hold paint wonderfully.
