Since this brush holder is ceramic, it is heavier and won't tip over with messy brushes to clean up after.

This little stand is perfect for my needs. It is heavy enough not topple over easily and separates the brushes enough to make each easy to grab one. And its price is very reasonable. I also like the fact that it matches my quiller porcelain palette.
