Synthapol

Synthrapol is a mild soap specifically made for removing excess dye so that the dyed articles can be washed with other laundry. When dyeing, not all the dye will react with the fiber. Therefore, excess dye must be removed to avoid backstaining. Thoroughly rinse the fiber with a small amount of Synthrapol, then launder with one tablespoon per machine load. Synthrapol suspends and carries the excess dye from the fiber.

This product is great for dyed fabrics. Also good for ready-made items whose colors might run when first washed.

This is the only soap I reach for when scrubbing fabric for dyeing or for rinsing the last of dye our of fabric. Always reliable and much better that regular laundry detergent.
