This chalk pastel set works very well. The colors are brilliant, and they last long. Also, I suggest buying the prismacolor fixative to help keep the colors on the surface.

Vivid colors and nice consistency make this a perfect chalk pastel for bigger projects on toothier paper. I've used these since college and love the way they handle. Great for blending or layering without getting that annoying "peeling" effect that can sometimes happen with chalks.
