This actually works great! I was surprised at how easy this is to use. Sharpens quickly and evenly.

This works pretty well. Produced a good point. On brand-new pencils that you are sharpening for the first time it is a little difficult to sharpen. That's why I gave it four stars insated of five. But it's faster and easier than sharpening with a knife, at least for me, and it works better than another, differently designed flat-point sharpener (more like a regular pencil sharpener, but with a wider hole) that I bought before this one.
