Americana is water-based and non-toxic and has a matte finish that can be varnished to create various sheens. Highly pigmented. Excellent one coat coverage. I decided to try these paints on a project once, and now I don't want to use anything else. The colors are accurate, and the paint quality is very good. They blend well, too. It's not what you'd expect for the money you pay.

I prefer this brand of paint. I find it easy to use, creamier, colors are true. Mixing also works well.

I just received my fourth order of Americana acrylics. I am especially pleased with the wide array of colors -- the pastel shades such as baby blue and baby pink are my favorites, as they are both delicate and vibrant. Also, I appreciate the easy clean-up.
