I am thrilled with this product. I purchased a black wrought iron shelf/towel bar combo and used the Antique Gold on it. Totally transformed the shelf into something beautiful. Also used Spanish Copper and Antique Gold on a rather plain looking brown wrought iron chandelier and again I was very pleased with the outcome. Made the piece look way more expensive than the purchase price.

I do a lot of arts and crafts and my mom told me about this product so I had to try it. It works great!! Stays were you put it and adds a nice finish to whatever you're working with. Also very versatile on the types of surfaces it will work on.

I have been told about this product from another professional, so I thought I would give it a try. I located the product at the store they requested but only had limited colors. So, I got online anf found MisterArt and also located the rub 'n buff and i was amzed on how many diferent colors were available. the paint is wonderful to work with, comes out smooth and buffs to a nice shine. delivery was quick as usual when i order from here. this paint is great to use if you are making altered tins, boxes, frames etc. i am going to order more soon, different colors. there is a great selection here.

I collect and restore antique kerosene lamps. Rub and Buff is perfect for creating finishes. Mixing "Ebony" with any of the golds creates a great bronze, which I use often. MisterArt.com has a good selection, and quick delivery. I can rely on him.

I have used this product for a long, long time, and I love the finish. When buffed it looks like real metal instead of the dull painted look you get from sparay paints. You can get some amazing antique effects by mixing a coup of colors. If you want your work to look professional, I would definitely recommend this product. I do wish they would come out with a bronze!

Not just for furniture. This product provides excellent coverage for other crafts & art as well. Use on clay sculpts & jewelry for an antique finish or inexpensive gold, silver, etc look. Consider "painting" it onto a branch to use as the top of the wall hanging of your next masterpiece. Use ventilation as the smell can get a little overwhelming. Outdoor furniture that has gotten worn looking can look brand new with this product! Change the look of household items like lamps. I bought all the colors and have found so many uses! After trying some of the other colors I have found that they are just as useful. And I like that I can make "old" looking items I have appear new & trendy.

I tried apllying gold leaf with awful results, then found rub and buff. It's easy to use and gives great results. I'll never try gold leaf again.

I love the antique gold Rub 'N Buff. It is the best product to use on wood that needs some tlc. I bought a large wood mirror at a consignment shop for $6.00. I rubbed it on and in minutes it looked brand new. Great results!!

Rub N'Buff is a great product. I use it on clay embellishments,embossed stamped images and brass charms. I have every color and use them all. If I don't care for the results I just use another color over it. Easy to use and cleans off your finger with a baby wipe.

I ordered this product to highlight some leatherworking projects. One such project was a mask for a costume outing, and people could not believe how good it turned out. It takes a little practice to use the stuff effectively, so have some scrap pieces on hand before your first use.

Rub n Buff is the best stain I have used for my frsmes. it covers up almost all flaws. The spannish copper is my favorite color. It is such a soft, warm brown. my order came within three days!

This product exceeded expectations. I needed to change some gold frames and was faced with an expensive project as I had six prints, one of which was quite large. I received an estimate of $475.00 for the job. I ordered the Rub'N Buff Pewter and applied to the frames. In addition to being fun, the frames looked even prettier than the new frames that I would have ordered with just minutes of applying and buffing. The results are lovely and I'm truly delighted.

I think this is an excellent product. I often use etching cream in decorating glass vases and I wanted a way to add color to the etched designes. With a wide variety of colors, Rub 'N Buff Metallic Finish is a great way to do just that. It's very easy to use and I'd recommend it to anyone!

A great item for Fine Art as well as craft

There are so many uses for this product that only your imagination could limit you! I use it to Highlight stencils, frames crafts, furniture, jewelry, etc…the nice thing about Rubnbuff, it’s cleaned up with just soap and water…I had been looking for this in craft stores but the color choices were limited and you save a lot of money buying it here and soooooo many colors…Try it you’ll like it!

This stuff is fabulous. I have used it on frames, a mailbox, a light fixture, a fireplace screen and a ceiling medalion. I found that I could get a great oil rubbed bronze look combining spanish copper and ebony. Adding mineral spirits and painting on gives more work time and a more even coat on larger surfaces. I love it.

I recently moved into a fairly new home. Very easy to use. A little goes a long way. I only wish there were more common vibrant colors for me to acquire. I would like to have the ability to have at least the primary colors available so that I could mix some hues that are not available.

Refreshing to find a company like this. Tried this product for the first time and what a product! Reviewers were not kidding when they said it was easy and a little goes a long way. This product blends beautifully,extended work time so you don't feel rushed like paint. No lines from overlapping work areas. You can achieve a matte type look or a high shine with minimal buffing which only takes moments. Covers extremely well over painted surfaces which I was concerned about as it states for "porous surfaces", and nothing shows through. The metallic "silver" looks great, not cheap looking like I have found with many metallic paints/leaf. Whoever created this product was a genius! Goodbye to expensive quarts of paint on so many things, I am in awe!
