Bob Ross oil colors are great for the wet-on-wet painting technique. They also work for the painter who needs an oil that has great color. This brand is excellent to mix. You get great combination colors when Bob Ross brands are put together on the palate.

I would recommend using the Bob Ross paints because his colors are noticably different from standard paints. The darker colors are thicker and the light (highlight) colors are thinner to allow thin paint to stick to the thick paint. It makes painting using the wet-on-wet technique much more enjoyable and saves a lot of time from thinning your highlight paints to get them to stick.

I would recommend using the Bob Ross paints because his colors are noticably different from standard paints. These paints have the necessary softness to achieve the Bob Ross Wet-On-Wet method. I would not try this method with any other oil paint. Also, not toxic, so I feel better when my dog get too close for comfort!
