I've read the reviews, but I am still unsure which surface to buy for colored pencils (not watercolor pencils). Will this paper work? - Asked by Virginia C on 19-Jan-14
Answer
Of the Bristol options featured here, the vellum surface has more tooth for colored pencils while the smooth surface is best for ink and wet media. We also recommend the Strathmore 400 Series Heavyweight Drawing Paper which has a medium surface ideal for colored pencil results. - Answered by MisterArt on 21-Jan-14Ask a Question About 300 Series Bristol
