these are way better than the tan lino which just crumbles
Rated by: jill o. in amity, OR
best described as firm blocks, excellent for crisp lines but use sharp tools to carve.
Rated by: Katie H. in Minneapolis, MN
I like these blocks a lot because they are so hard and hold their edge so well. You can tell that any block you make out of these will be reusable for a long time. That being said, because the material is so hard, it is difficult to get fine details and sometimes the material will crumble a bit. Also, make sure proper safety precautions are being made when carving these blocks, my cutter slipped a few times and I got a pretty wicked stab on the finger

Blocks arrived on time and in great condition. Easy to cut on for adults; however, I think they are still too hard for children to use. I read many reviews that said the blocks were soft enough for kids to cut and this is NOT true. Product is great for adult use.

These linoleum blocks are extremely hard, which makes carving pretty intense. The plus is that you get a much better edge than you do with the softer, eraser-like blocks. (But those are easier to carve.)

Great block!
