Product Questions and Answers

I need a tacky adhesive that I can use to attach a 2" x 3 1/2" printed magnet to letterhead for mailing. Is there one that will not tear the paper?

- Asked by Ann Norris on 15-May-14
Answer

The Aleen's Tacky glues featured here are not meant to be removable. Try Aleene's Repostionable Tacky Spray or Tombow's Mono Adhesive which comes in a removable tape.

- Answered by MisterArt on 16-May-14

Can this glue be used to hold two pieces of paper together temporarily in lieu of staples or paper clips?

- Asked by Ron B. on 04-Mar-13
Answer

The Original Tacky Glue by Aleene's is not recommended for use on paper.

Super Stuff, a very thick white glue which dries clear, holds great to paster casts, wood, foam, etc. Water based. Glad I tried it the first time, will use it a lot more!!!

Very helpful for a kids project of gluing small objects on wood - great for small hands - glue dried clear. Great stuff!

This glue has become an invaluable tool when doing the hems of my floorcloths. I had tried 2 other methods, but the Aleene's glue has given me the best results. Love this large size bottle.

This is the best all-purpose glue. I use it straight for the obvious purposes it holds dries fast and clear. Mixed 50-50 with water it is a collage medium, varnish and bookbinding and cover glue. Buy it in the largest bottles !

Being an architecture student, I build a LOT of models. Tacky Glue is by far the best product I have used for cardboard, bass wood, and foam core board. Dries very fast, so you don't have to wait for it to dry before you continue on with your project.
