Product Questions and Answers

Will the adhesive leave anything behind when I go to take the tape off my stainless steel refrigerator? Will it damage the fridge in any way?

- Asked by Diane R. on 19-Mar-14

In most cases, the adhesive side is stuck to the small non-magnetic item such as a photo, and the magnetic side of the tape sticks the item to the refrigerator. The magnetic side should not affect the refrigerator. If applying the adhesive to the fridge itself, an adhesive remover such as 3M Adhesive Remover may be used to remove residue from the refrigerator if needed.

- Answered by MisterArt on 19-Mar-14

Can it hold heavy items like an iPad on the fridge?

- Asked by Jenn on 30-Dec-13

This super thin (.0118 in.) magnetic tape is designed for lightweight materials only such as paper and photos.

- Answered by MisterArt on 07-Jan-14

Can magnetic tape be removed easily from stainless steel fridge without leaving residue?

- Asked by BDC on 24-Aug-13

Yes, and if there is residue, just use an adhesive remover like Bestine.

- Answered by MisterArt on 28-Aug-13

Will this work to attach my refrigerator magnets to stainless steel?

- Asked by Pat on 21-May-13

This tape is actual magnet material and it will work on stainless steel.

As a teacher, I would be lost without this item. My walls are covered with students' work because this works so well. Even items that I don't want up forever can go quickly up. I can't say enough good things about magnetic tape!
