These are the finest brushes I have ever used. I paint miniatures for gamers and collectors and have used W & N series 7s for well over 30 years. They hold and deliver paint better than any other brush I have tried (and I have tried a LOT of them). The cost, while a bit higher, is outweighed by their longevity. A proper cleaning at the end of a session is all they need! Can't recommend these brushes enough.

I've used W&N Series 7 brushes since my freshman year in Art school...have a good number of them from that "era"!....and they still_can be brought to the finest point (if they're cleaned right after use) either watercolor or oil...Back then, a #1 cost $3.00 and I've always looked at them as an investment in time as well as quality....and I'm now seventy two! There are none finer...

This is a great, high quality brush. It works well. It was actually reccomended by my professor, who says to only use the best suplies when working. (It has a small tip, being that it's size 2, so it depends on what you have in mind with this brush.) Also, I really appreciated that the brush came quickly and hassle-free. I definatly was happy ordering from

These W&N Series 7 brushes are precious gems. I only own one other because they aren't inexpensive. I love these brushes for the way they hold & release paint & the fine line I can execute.

These W & N brushes are legendary. They are the standard of the world (and have been for decades). They are internationally recognized as the finest of their type. Fortunately, their cost is within reach of most artists, and they will last a long time if properly cared for. The construction of these brushes is as fine as the quality of the bristles and their shape and performance. Indulge, and treat yourself to the world's best. Your work will be easier and come out better too.

These are excellent brushes. They really do hold their points for a long time given careful handling.

Best brushes I have ever used. I would not use anything else! Great for detail, keep their shape!

What can one say? The brushes are Winsor Newton Series 7. There are none better. I've been using Series 7 for over forty-two years. They always come to a fine point and for detailing they're marvelous.

I purchased four Winsor Newton Series 7 brushes for figure painting: #2, #3,#00, and #000. Each publication about figure painting recommends these brushes. So far, I am very impressed. Regardless of size, these brushes have a very distinct tip which allows one to paint distinct detail, shadows, et al. I have used acrylic paint exclusively. These brushes hold a substantial amount of paint, yet allow great control with how is is dipensed. Acrylic paints clean up well with water. I have read that since the brushes are actual hair, it is appropriate to wash them with shampoo and treat with hair conditioner. So far I am very pleased with the brushes and the quality I obtain when using them. Worth the money.

If you want the best brushes for acrylics and watercolor you can't get any better than Series 7 by Winsor 7 Newton. I don't use anything else for my professional work.

The price on this brush is unbeatable. Tyipically I like to select the brush tip in person, however, the brushes I received are all in perfect shape.

As a botanical artist, my work needs to be neat and precise. This brush makes it easy to be both accurate and fluid in my painting. I love it.

I paint miniature figures for table top gaming, I purchased numerous cheaper brushes from different manufacturers, until I finally broke down and paid the extra money for the Series 7 sable brushes. WOW!!!! It is like night and day. The Series 7 keep a sharp point, hold good amounts of paint, and lay down paint very smoothly. Avoid the disappointment and wasted money on cheap brushes, pay a little extra now and get good brushes, you will not reget it!

I tried many brands of brushes for my miniatures before purchasing these. But I can't imagine painting without my W&N brushes now. They hold a tip, they load very well, the detail work I can get with a 000 is better than what I had been using a 00000 to do before. I LOVE these brushes.

Wonderful brushes, springy, soft and holding a great point. I use 0 and 3/0 for small details on miniatures and get my best results ever.
