Well known for its superior quality is this traditional graphite pencil. Cedar wood casing guarantees utmost strength and easy sharpening. Range of 20 hardness/softness grades from 9B (softest) to 9H (hardest) covers the full spectrum of applications. Softer grades produce broader and darker strokes; harder grades produce more precise and lighter strokes. Cretacolor graphite pencils are good tools for all sketching, drawing, and hatching applications.

Sold in boxes of 12. Also available individually.

Customer Product Reviews

As drawing is the basis for success in painting, I feel the proper pencil is of utmost importance. I have looked for a long time for these pencils after being introduced to them by a fellow artist. Finally I found them at Misterart, com. I have encouraged my students to use them and the results are amazing. There is a clear difference in this product.

These pencils are great for the most part, especially if you're just starting out. They're not really smooth, but I've been able to overcome that.

We do some drafting in the early classes for students to learn form. These are perfect.

I deal with many companies in my profession and MisterArt.com ranks at the top of my list as far as customer service and satisfaction are concerned. Also, their prices are some of the best I've ever seen.

A fantastic value. Not as smooth as some higher-end graphite pencils, but they are definitely a great value. Highly recommended.
