The stool is a great concept, but if you are looking for a sturdy, durable stool, look elsewhere. The seat on this stool began to rip at the corners within a few days of receiving it, and that was just sitting on it in my living room! Since I have a friend who does leather work, I had him make a new seat, which works great. Despite the new seat, however, I doubt this stool will last long under regular use. If you buy this stool, count on replacing the seat at a minimum.

I've been looking for one of these for years. Excellent quality and very comfortable. My only complaint would be that it would be nice if it had some sort of built in strap to secure it closed and carry it.

I bought 2 of these chairs. And they are exactly like the picture. I am not an artist, was just looking for something fancy to use as foot rest in our camper, while chilling out on the couch. These work perfect and look like I spent a lot of money. I will be sending this site to the camping review page for people to see. Thanks again for the well made leather chairs or foot rest I should say.
