Universal acrylic polymer is used for diluting and extending colors as well as increasing flexibility and film integrity. Wets out solids more readily than other polymers and is useful for artists formulating their own paints. Also ideal as a primer for preventing support induced discoloration.

I don't know what I would do without this product. It makes it easy to create layers of color with glazes.

I learned about Golden Universal Acrylic Polymer Medium in a college art class I attended. We used "GAC" to attach tissue paper and other papers to a surface. Then we used that as the environment on which to create our finished piece. It is a wonderful medium to use if you are insecure about your structure, since it creates a plastic film on the surface and you can erase with a dam p rag. If used on thin paper such as sketch paper, it makes it flexible and much more durable. It has multiple uses and I continue to experiment with it.

I used that product to extend my color. Equal amount with my color most of the time or sometime mix with other medium. I love it.
