Product Questions and Answers

If I'm painting on glass, can I cure this paint in the oven along with the Pebeo 160 glass paints?

- Asked by Harmony on 21-Apr-14
Answer

Vitrail Cerne Relief outliners are designed for use with both the Pebeo Ceramic and Vitrail colors which are air-dry paints. We do not recommend baking the Vitrail Cerne outliners. If oven curing is desired, Pebeo makes a set of Vitrea 160 Outliners specifically for Vitrea 160 Glass Paint as they have compatible heat temperatures.

- Answered by MisterArt on 23-Apr-14

Can Porcelaine 150 paints be used in conjunction with Vitrea 160 and baked?

- Asked by Denise on 21-Feb-14
Answer

No, Porcelaine 150 colors are not intermixable with Vitrea 160. These paints heat set at different temperatures. Porcelaine 150 colors are solid, and Vitrea 160 colors achieve a fused glass or blown glass appearance.

- Answered by MisterArt on 27-Feb-14

Product was great value for the cost. Works equally well on all surfaces. Adds just the right touch on paintings done on glass and dishware. I will purchase gain in a heart beat.

This is a excellent medium for embellishment and enhancing fine art paintings. I have been using the product on canvas and ceramic tiles for years. I have developed my own unique style of Jazz Art. Drawing the lines for guitars is a breeze.
